Rooms
Our 13 bedrooms, 9 above the pub and 4 in our cottage opposite, are all ensuite, individually styled and provide a calm, simple space to relax and unwind. Some have views to the front out to Dartmoor with others overlooking the garden. All rooms feature free wifi, smart televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and Bramley toiletries.
Z-Beds for children are available in some rooms (excluding our Single and Small Doubles) and are charged at £25 per night, please speak to one of the team when booking to check availability. Guests are very welcome to bring their own cots, please let us know when booking to ensure your room has space.

Winter Breaks – Available from the 1st October until 31st March for stays of 2 or more nights from £198 for 2 nights B&B. Apply your dates when booking via the button below and our Winter Break rate will become bookable if available.
Dogs
The more the merrier, we welcome dogs to The Castle, please make one of the team aware on booking or add them in when booking via our website. We charge £10 per dog, per night, for which your dog will receive a welcome pack filled with doggie travel essentials.

Large bedroom over the pub with balcony and windows overlooking the rear garden. Reclaimed wood four poster kingsize bed, large bathroom with shower over bath.
Room 2 – Bigger Double/twin – Pub
Large bedroom in main pub over the restaurant, steps down into room, windows overlooking rear garden. Super-king or twin size bed, wooden floors, good sized bathroom with shower over bath.
Room 3 – Small Double
Cosy room with beamed wall in main pub over restaurant, kingsize bed, at the front of the building. Small bathroom with shower over bath.
Room 4 – Small Double
Small room in main pub over the restaurant, at the front of the building with a super-king or twin bed, small bathroom with shower over bath.
Room 5 – Small Double
Small room in main pub over front porch, kingsize bed, small bathroom with shower, high beamed ceiling, please note the sink is in the bedroom in this room.
Room 6 – Big Double/twin
Large room in the main pub over the bar in the oldest part of the building, original stone wall and high beamed ceilings. Superking or twin bed. At the front of the building, small bathroom with small shower cubicle.
Room 7 – Small Double
Small double at the rear of the building, double windows overlooking rear garden. Double bed, small bathroom with shower over bath.
Room 8 – Single
Small single room in the main pub at the rear of the building, single bed, small bathroom with shower
Room 9 – Bigger Double – Pub
Lovely large room in the main pub, with views out of the front of the building, high beamed ceilings, wooden floors and reclaimed wood four-poster king bed. Good sized bathroom with shower over bath
Room 10 – BigGER Double/twin – cottage
Good sized double windowed room on the ground floor of our cottage across the road from the pub. Superking or twin bed, lovely bathroom with shower.
Room 11 – BigGER Double – cottage
Lovely sized double aspect room on ground floor of cottage across the road from the pub, kingsize bed, good sized bathroom with walk-in shower.
Room 12 – Biggest Double – cottage
The largest of our rooms on the first floor of our cottage across the road from the pub, freestanding bath in the bedroom, reclaimed wooden four-poster kingsize bed, lots of natural light, lovely separate bathroom with walk-in shower.
Room 14 – Bigger Double – cottage
This is a large room on the first floor of our cottage opposite the pub, reclaimed wood four-poster kingsize bed, views over to the pub, good size bathroom with free-standing bath and walk-in shower.
